It's a bit inaccurate to think of learning to play guitar as a straight forward path "from this, to this, now this, then this..." It's not. Every single guitar player has different interests and, therefore, different needs, and subsequently a different route to take.
I often compare learning to play guitar with how a tree grows: everyone starts with the same foundations (the trunk), which is what I would consider SECTIONS ONE to FOUR to be: which is why I recommend everyone starts there.
Then, as you proceed higher and higher, different branches emerge. Each separate branch is taking you along different techniques to study. All those branches are interconnected of course, so if you'd like to learn them all then go nuts! Or, if you'd like to follow your own little path in your own time then, again, go nuts.
The choice is yours.
